Meet the cockatoos of Darlinghurst

I often find myself walking around the block, and these days I’ve found a special group of troopers in the park right outside my apartment.

I found these guys in Rushcutters Bay park!

Cockatoos are stunning, friendly, intelligent birds, and they’re often in groups. I find them really elegant, except for when they’re squaking all together! They can be quiet loud!

I was out a couple of days ago, and was delighted to find them again….one of them even went as far as jumping on my head! Here are a few pictures.
